Human nature is a complex mix of good and evil, a duality that shapes who we are.  Accepting this inherent mix, instead of suppressing either side, fosters self-understanding, empathy, and ultimately, a more compassionate world by recognizing our shared humanity.

I felt that the instrumental version of “I Don't Want To Know” stood well on its own, so I muted the vocal tracks and rematered the new version. Enjoy!

Is it always helpful to seek the reason for our trauma?

Do we see ourselves as we wish to be, or as we wish others to see us? Are we who we think we are?

Breathless explores the perpetual neglect of children as a result of the ramifications associated with generational poverty and addiction.

The music is about two things: my lived experience with chronic pain and the trauma cause by undergoing surgery under conscious sedation.

This music is an examination of the deceit, distrust, betrayal, and retribution, that manifests in a toxic relationship.

This work began as an experiment in sound design. The snap, crackle, & pop of my hip bone got very loud & frequent (& painful), so a week before my hip replacement, I sampled as many different sounds as I could emit from it. I hope you enjoy this fun piece!

“Bless Them All” honours our ancestors, their influences on us, and how these influences help shape the lives of those who come after us. Its positive, universal theme of self-reflection and personal spiritual growth is certain to elevate and invigorate the listener.

The Truth About Christmas draws attention to the most important aspect of the season-----Love. Christmas isn't just about giving and receiving gifts; Love is the universal gift that lasts.

This song uses an audition for a theatrical production as a metaphor for unrequited love. The character would love to play the lead role but is willing to take any part at all, just to be part of the play. It features voice and piano and makes use of alternating meters.

Many in Western society feel helpless to affect change in our world. We stand by in horror as our planet dies, and watch, paralyzed, as leaders act in their own self-interest. We have become numb to the atrocities we see every day in the media.

This song follows the thoughts and attitudes of a man who wants to face his truth but cannot do it. His desire to accept his failures and lies are overshadowed by his inability to be honest with himself.

Many habits in my life meant a lot to me for a long time, but in the end, when I finally realized they no longer served me, I had to let them go. These patterns were deeply ingrained, so when I got rid of them, I had to do so forcefully. I had to get mean! Hence, the coarse language in the third verse.

This song was inspired by the pandemic. It's a lighthearted exploration of infatuation as an addiction.

This is a collaboration between Kenny DesChamp and Bobby Brioux, under the band name, Brio & The Madman. Suspend belief for just a few minutes and enjoy this heavy rock romp into alien abduction.

This first person singular narrative tells the story of a man in constant indecision, restlessness, irritability, and discontentedness. Many of us, in my experience, feel this way. We move from one catastrophe to the next, leaving immeasurable wreckage behind us. Chaos is our comfort zone. It is a place to belong.

The message conveyed in this song is one people living through this pandemic need to hear. It is a reminder that we need to be grateful. If ever there was a time for a song and video such as Rewind, it is now.

Rewind: The Lyric Video - Enjoy!

A collaboration with Bobby Brioux.

When Karin and I married on June 30th, 2015, we chose Pharrell Williams' song, Happy, as our recessional. We were supposed to walk down the aisle after the ceremony, but instead we both spontaneously broke out in dance.

Too numb to feel love, Too blind to receive love, She took him by the hand And told him that he mattered.

Too numb to feel love,
Too blind to receive love,
She took him by the hand
And told him that he mattered.

Kevan Smith, the creator of all my music videos, made this as a present to me for Christmas. I liked what he did so much that I wanted to share it with all of you! It features one of my earliest releases, The Madman. Thank you, Kevan!

A message of experience, strength, and hope. Much gratitude and grace!

This song is about slavery associated with substance abuse. It is the story of the darkest time in one's life when the pain and agony in the midst of addiction are nearly fatal.
